Cooking Matters is offering FREE cooking and nutrition classes for parents and caregivers. Each class is via Zoom and has a separate registration. After completing the class and filling out a brief post-class survey, each adult participant will be mailed a $10 grocery gift card and handouts and recipes from the class.

Cooking Matters at Care and Share is offering free cooking and nutrition classes! This series will be offered every Thursday and participants are welcome to join into any sessions that interest them. Classes will feature live cooking demos, healthy and budget-friendly recipes, and discussion.

In this session, we’ll discuss safe,  age-appropriate  tasks  for  kids  in  the  kitchen,  practice preparing  meals  or  snacks  with  child-friendly steps, and share ideas for healthy meals and snacks that everyone in the family will enjoy.

In this session, we’ll  discuss  how  to  use  everything  that  you  have  (or  have  access  to),  practice  using ‘hard to utilize’ ingredients in a variety of recipes, and discuss how to save foods that you can’t use right away and how to limit food waste.
